An additional variation is available exclusively for iPad users via the companion app MathNight, enhancing the experience for tablet users.

The 60-second quiz employs playful sound effects alongside the innovative digitBar™ interface, which simplifies answer entry. Students can assign one finger or thumb to the ones digit and another to the tens digit, enabling rapid input and correction. This design reinforces an understanding of number construction while fostering quick recall under time pressure. The game utilizes a minimalist visual language—free of text—to focus solely on fundamental numerical concepts, making it accessible for early readers and learners worldwide.

Each session reviews core arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. Players select from quizzes with randomly generated values within specified ranges or target particular multiplication tables (such as focusing on “your 8s”). The system emphasizes positive reinforcement: problems remain visible until correctly answered, with no penalties for mistakes—only lost seconds for incorrect attempts or typos—encouraging perseverance without discouragement.
